Here’s another one we just couldn’t resist working on. ACIS, the student travel company, engaged Holland Mark to redesign and rebuild the site that served as their primary marketing channel. They use the site to promote and sell their tours to teachers, students, and parents. Travelers can register for a trip, get packing lists and updates, and post pictures and comments about their travel experiences.
Except when we started, it was two sites, not one. Sarah worked closely with the ACIS and Holland Mark teams to fold TripStream, their user-generated content site, into the ACIS.com site. This one really had it all when we started: outdated editorial content, a stale look and feel, disorganized navigation, a not-so-interactive tour search, confusing registration process, and a separate site for the user-generated stuff.
