Black Pepper worked closely with Argus Communications to deliver the My HealthCare Options site, sponsored by the Health Care Cost and Quality Council. The mission of this Massachusetts agency is to reduce health care costs and improve quality state wide. One of their channels was a Web site that publishes health care quality data by hospital and condition. Care outcomes are positioned above total costs so consumers can make healthy and cost-efficient decisions about where to receive their medical services. We pushed the council to provide deeper content on the site; they didn’t have the means to do so at the time. We were pleased that they followed our recommendations for overall site structure and presentation of the cost and quality data.
