One of our favorite clients made a big back-to-school move and changed offices in September. To help with this major relocation, they asked Black Pepper to merge their employee directory and their move management software into one simplified website that allows executive assistants, office managers, and facilities staff to manage big and small moves. The new tool includes an employee look-up and dynamic maps, showing pictures of employees and their offices on a floor plan. And because we believe safety comes first, we talked them into adding emergency exits and evacuation planning information to the site, in addition to all the boring stuff like bathrooms, kitchens, server rooms, printers, and elevators. It’s optimized for tablet viewing so employees can find offices and conference rooms while shuttling between meetings.
